Commissions

I create original artwork at your request.

Character Illustration: $300 (+$50 for each additional character after the first)

Digital Charcoal: $200

Rough Sketch: $25

Commission Process

Email me at byoungworkshop@gmail.com to request a commission.
- I'll need details of what you want. Reference pictures are usually great here, but don't send me anything I wouldn't draw (see next point).
- I don't do NSFW or anything nude, pornographic, suggestive, excessively violent or gory, lewd, vulgar, or obscene.
You pay me half up-front. I'll provide a PayPal invoice.
I get to work. We'll communicate at each stage of the process.

You provide your notes and we'll go through up to two rounds of editing per stage including in the price of the commission. If you want additional rounds of editing, I will need to charge for the added time, as will I if we need to return to an earlier stage in the process.

- Thumbnail Sketch(es) - this is for you to check proportions, pose, and composition.
- Linework - this is for you to check style and details.
- Flat Colors - this is for you to check if I've got the colors in the right ballpark.
- Rendering (light and shadow) - This is your last chance to make some minor tweaks. Anything major and we'll need to start a new project from the beginning.
You pay me the rest. I'll provide a PayPal invoice.
I send the art files to you.

Policies

No returns/refunds. All sales and monetary transactions are final.

I don't accept checks. Even electronic checks. I also don't accept direct deposit to my bank account. All transactions will occur on the platform of my choosing (probably PayPal or Venmo).

I reserve the right to reject a commission or to terminate our relationship, without refund, for any reason. This is unlikely except for issues of failure to pay, violation of my policies, insistence that I do a work that I am uncomfortable with (e.g., NSFW), defamation, harassment, and/or threats.

Every project is an investment, and I expect you to respect the process. If you do not engage, such as by not respond to my emails, I don't see how our relationship can continue, and I will cease work on the project.

I reserve the right to post my commissions on my social media accounts, websites, and online stores. If you don't want you commission posted online, please indicate such and I will charge an additional $25 fee.

All of my work is done digitally and online. I will deliver digital art files (usually a PNG) and will not mail art prints. You won't have my mailing address, and I don't want yours. Once you have the files, you may have the artwork printed for personal use only. If you didn't indicate that you don't want your commission posted online, then it will also appear in my InPrnt store, where you can print it on-demand.
